Giving Back is Part of Our Process

As interior designers, we focus on environments—everything that affects the way we feel in our surroundings. But an interior environment ends at the front door. So it makes sense that our team is driven to expand on that kind of thinking in their spare time—volunteering and giving back to the community in ways that improve our surroundings here in the High Point area, and fuel our creative vision.

Here are some of the organizations and causes that our staff members are involved with. Inside and outside the scope of our client projects, we couldn’t be more proud of the work our people do.

Our studio is actively involved with the following non-profit and community organizations:

Christi Barbour:

  • Association Board Member, YMCA of High Point
  • Board Member, Forward High Point
  • Board Member, High Point University Advisory Board to the Interior Design program
  • Executive Board Member, High Point Market Authority
  • Christi also founded the immensely popular blog, High Point Discovered, in which she and her contributors share the very best of High Point, from its rising stars to creative innovators—calling special attention to the leaders and entrepreneurs throughout the community. Through this vehicle, she has inspired other dreamers to start their own businesses and live their dreams.

Christi Spangle:

  • Board of Directors, High Point Convention & Visitors Bureau
  • Christi is actively involved in her community, various non-profit organizations and local government. She currently serves on the Board for the Bernice Bienenstock Furniture Library where she spear-headed the overhaul of the Bernice Bienenstock Furniture Library Interior Design Competition in 2012, transforming it from a small, local contest to a national competition providing thousands of dollars in scholarship funding to design students. Christi is currently the Chair and Lead Judge for this competition. In addition, she sits in on various school portfolio reviews to help students develop a strong portfolio for job interviews upon entering the marketplace. She also sits on the board for the High Point Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.

Morgan White:

  • Serves as a State Field Director for the Miss North Carolina Scholarship Competition: a federally recognized 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to empowering young women to achieve their personal, professional, and educational goals.
