One thing that we love about our city is its diversity. During Black History Month, you may remember our story on the incredible Glenn Chavis, a local historian and resident expert in the history of African Americans in High Point.
But our city’s diversity and culture doesn’t begin and end in a history book. It’s all around, and we sure are thankful it is. We think that if everyone in our city was the same, we would miss out on so many of the opportunities to learn more about others, try new things and appreciate the stories from around the world – right from the people who have chosen to make High Point their home.
As you drive through the city, consider all the places, people and cultures there are to learn from. We have compiled below several different religious organizations that you may not know are located nearby, that members of our community faithfully attend and support. Maybe consider finding out about a time you could visit one of the organizations below, to learn about the religions and cultures that contribute to enhance our community.
