Supporting Our Neighbors in Western North Carolina




Our hearts go out to those impacted by Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina, and we are committed to supporting relief efforts and rebuilding stronger together.


Beginning now and through the month of November, we are collecting essentials at our studio from the list below. You can also contribute to A Simple Gesture in the boxes in The Commons at Congdon Yards.

So far, our team members have personally raised over $3,000 to purchase food, supplies and paper goods for A Simple Gesture and Swannanoa.


Hope, our lead showroom designer, has dedicated her time to volunteering in the recovery efforts and delivering essential supplies directly to the Swannanoa and Hendersonville areas.

Aerial Recovery is currently on the ground near Asheville, NC, conducting search and rescue and disaster relief following Hurricane Helene


H.A.L.O. Relief

Humanitarian and Life-Saving Operations: Volunteer organization committed to serving our communities during natural and man-made disasters


OP Air Drop

A Texas-based 501(c)3 non-profit that mobilizes general aviation assets in the aftermath of a disaster


Support WNC TILE CREW and CAROLINA TILE POSSES relief effort


Watauga County Children's Council

Community organization with resources for families with young children, directly supplying those families with diapers, formula, and baby gear, and helping clean up/rebuild local daycares.


Hospitality House

A Non-profit helping community members in Watauga, Wilkes, Ashe, Avery, Alleghany, Mitchell, and Yancey counties that Hurricane Helene unhoused. They help with shelter, food and clothing, prescription medication, insulin, and counseling.


F.A.R.M. Cafe

A 501(c)3 Non-profit restaurant that provides Food for All Regardless of Means. They have been feeding people warm, healthy, free meals every day since they restored power. Monetary donations are most appreciated to help with food and operations costs.


Boone Chamber Foundation

They are coordinating much of the donated food, water, supplies, and direct distribution through Watauga County that is coming in from down the mountain.


Ashe County Advantage Project

This is a main hub for relief efforts in Ashe County. There is a huge population in remote areas throughout the county that have had devastating loss. Donations to this org will be spread throughout the county.


Feeding Avery Families

Avery County is one of the worst hit throughout our High Country area. This is a local food pantry that is feeding members of Newland, Banner Elk, Elk Park, Beech Mountain, Crossnore, Linville, and more.


 

To our neighbors impacted by this event, we will not forget you. We will work to keep this momentum going as these communities work to recover.
